I’m Leah, a curl‑specialist stylist with 18 years of experience. I began my career in traditional salons working with all hair types, but over time I realised that curls were where I felt most at home. That led me to train at the Deva Curl Academy in Manhattan, where I learned texture‑specific techniques that shaped the way I work today. I now focus on cutting and caring for all curly hair, using an approach built around shape, movement and what the hair naturally wants to do.

Riot Crrrl is based on Richardson Road in Hove and carries that philosophy into the salon space. It’s calm, inclusive and designed to make people with curls feel comfortable and understood. Appointments are personalised and unhurried, with time to look at how your curls behave naturally and how to shape them in a way that works day to day. The aim is always to create a style that feels authentic and true to your natural texture.
